About Jo Anne

Jo Anne Martin hails from a quaint Arkansas town and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics along with a Master’s in Adult Education. Following the passing of her husband, which left her with two young children, Jo Anne began her distinguished career with the U.S. Department of Defense. There, she played a pivotal role in facilitating college education for hundreds of U.S. soldiers, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere at her education center with her exceptional homemade baked goods, which she generously shared with soldiers she affectionately considered her own. Jo Anne’s dedication took her to various international posts, including Panama, Puerto Rico, Macedonia, Kosovo, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. Now settled back in Arkansas, she continues to delight family and friends—especially her grandchildren—with her delicious treats. Remaining committed to supporting U.S. troops, Jo Anne has initiated a heartfelt campaign: for every cookie sold, she sends another to a U.S. soldier stationed overseas, continuing her legacy of nurturing and support wherever it is needed.
